On Basswood, many jackstrawed down white and Norway pine are so thick you cannot reach even crawl through. It is spotty, of course, but the pines will never come back. Aspen and balsam, birch and spruce will. I haven to have loved the tall white and Norway pine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
